I just got home from appreciating the beauty of socialized healthcare. Yes that is right boys I just got out of the hospital. I must tell you I have had the most massive headaches possible. All because my sinuses are blocked up. Four days in a hospital bed and I can't wait to get home and start running. And for all you out there waiting and counting down the days till I am back in the states that is a week. I fly away from London to Detroit on the 3rd of June. I'll be running the streets near you soon enough.

Looking forward to seeing you stateside,
Micah

Dylan says hussy's aint got respect. My little vacation to Home Planet Kickapoo has been a moderate success. I've seen some old friends and enemies, relived my unglorious days at high school track meets, and of course took it easy for a bit. My new running shoes just came in the mail, tommorow morning I take their virginity. On friday I did 10 hours of physical labor, mostly demolitions involving such instruments as sledge hammers and crowbars, lots of fun, but lots of work. I was destructionating for a fellow running friend of mine who asked me to accompany him on a brisk 12 miler after work, being the lunatic that I am I simply couldn't pass it up, and hey, it felt pretty good. It's been raining like Portland here (WHAT DID YOU DO PISTOL PETE!?). The river is flooded, my brother and I went down to challenge mother nature, shes a toughy, but we survived. It's a good thing I double tied my swim trunks otherwise......well I'm sure you can picture my naked white bum in dirty water hanging onto a tree branch. I think I'll leave you with that thought.
Que'est-ce que je peux faire?

I am sitting here in scotland counting down the days till I get to come home to the land of milk and honey. Things have been good here, but I have been missing home. I look forward to seeing the people I care about, which includes all of the Mac Pack out there. Who knows maybe I will be rolling through your neck of the woods this summer and we can run together. You will have to take it easy on me from the outset, because an injury at Paris has kept me away. I finally went to a physiotherapist yesterday and I will be up and running tomorrow. Anyway I look forward to seeing all of you in the fall if not on the street of a town near you.

Lost and alone in Scotland
